Communications Coordinator

  • This Government organisation are implementing various projects within Cairns and surrounding communities.

    To ensure consistency of communications and brand they require a Communications Coordinator to assist with providing communications support to the organisation.

    In this role you will manage and oversee the organisations branding and provide advice on branding strategies. You will also be responsible for all internal and external communications including media releases. In addition you will organise events which will include seminars, forums and meetings and provide all event correspondence.

    We are looking for a demonstrated experience in communications, public relations or a related field. You will also possess a strong initiative and ability to work autonomously. This role requires highly developed writing skills as well as the ability to analyse and report on information and problem solve.
