Executive Culinary Trainer - Queensland

Our client is one of Australia's leading resort operations and a newly created opportunity exists for an Executive Culinary Trainer to join the island based Learning & Development team.

The role is diverse and will be responsible for co-ordinating the training efforts across all resort based culinary employees participating in the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery program. Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager you will be directly involved in building relationships across the resorts Culinary platform, liaising with Executive Chef's and the senior brigade members alongside the Food & Beverage Management team.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating the training and development of employees under the Culinary Apprenticeship program and ensuring the program achieves a consistently high completion rate with an emphasis on low employee turnover. You will be responsible for monitoring learning outcomes in line with training objectives and maintaining accurate records in accordance with RTO legislation.

The successful candidate will possess proven experience at a Head Chef / managerial level, preferably obtained within a five star hotel or resort environment and ideally have previous training experience. You will have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise across a diverse audience and the proven ability to motivate and develop individuals to achieve results.
