Our Company has been awarded a contract to design and construct a new purpose built recycled water treatment plant at a greenfield site located in Fairfield NSW. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Site Manager to be responsible for the following:

 

• Represent the company in dealings with the client, the superintendent, partners, suppliers and subcontractors for all matters concerning the works phase.
• Manage all phases of site works including; civil and building construction, mechanical installation, equipment assembly, electrical & instrumentation installation, to ensure Program and Budget are maintained.
• Represent the company on site in regards to industrial relations, health and safety, respect for the environment, compliance with quality standards etc.
•  Ensure compliance with the company’s contractual obligations for site activities under the Contract.
• Ensure that the works progress according to program and take all necessary action in the event of any delay.
• Regularly coordinate with the Principal’s representatives in relation to interface work and their specific requirements;
• Coordinate regular subcontractor meetings to ensure work schedules are maintained, deadlines are met, and construction costs are optimised.
• Review progress claims and variations, and report to the Project Manager.

  The ideal candidate has the following experience and skills: 

1. Previous site installation experience in a highly industrialised environment
2. Extensive site management expertise
3. Experience in mechanical and electrical supervision
4. Some exposure to civil works
5. Good team spirit and communication skills essential
6. Knowledge of water treatment processes is highly regarded
