HVAC ENGINEER > OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS > EU PASSPORT HOLDER > PARIS BASED

Excellent opportunity exists for an experienced HVAC ENGINEER on a major offshore oil and gas project. This position will be based in Paris, France.

Requirements

  • B Engineering. A Chartered engineer or equivalent with sound experience in the HVAC discipline
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a multi discipline project team environment. Significant experience as lead discipline engineer. Good knowledge of major industry Codes and Standards as well as Russian standards
  • Sound judgment and analytical skills to apply appropriate risk assessment methodologies and enact effective risk based decisions
  • Fluent English mandatory. Russian language is not obligatory, but beneficial
Responsibilities
  • Supervision, control and coordination of offshore FEED and CCFT works in compliance with Project Specifications and Procedures, discipline requirements and Russian and international codes. With the objective to ensure respect of the Schedule and optimise Costs without impacting required level of Quality and Safety
  • Take knowledge Russian norms, consider applicability of it for Project if relevant. Review, take knowledge of and assist to assess the technical capabilities of Russian suppliers. Provide inputs into the FEED and CCFT works in order to promote Russian suppliers involvement
  • Interface with other elements of the project on all Engineering ????? ????? matters

Main Activities

  • Design review of all HVAC related documents, including all interfaces related to this discipline
  • Ensure compliance of the engineering ????? ????? for this discipline
  • Ensure compliance for the discipline with laws and regulations and applicable industry codes, standards and recommended practices
  • Work closely with the Russian market survey team to take knowledge of the Russian industry capabilities in order to take it in consideration during ????? ????? CCFT and assess potential suppliers involvement in subsequent phases
  • Report to Topsides Package Leader, concerning discipline progress and areas of concern
  • Assist Topsides Package Leader with review of change orders, planning constraints etc.
  • Support Hull Leader on HVAC engineering, in particular for the HVAC System design of the Living Quarters
