An exciting opportunity exists for a General Practitioner to join a leading, fully accredited Aboriginal Health Service in WA. The Service employs four General Practitioners who work closely with Aboriginal Health Workers and Nurses. This core clinical team is supported by a range of allied health services such as drug & alcohol services and a number of visiting medical specialists including a dentist, ENT Specialist, Ophthalmologist and Renal Physician.

Applicants should possess relevant medical qualifications including FRACGP and have highly developed interpersonal skills and a desire to become culturally connected with the community.

This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with participation in the GP's after hours on call roster at the regional hospital.

An attractive salary package will be offered including optional salary packaging, housing allowance, six weeks annual leave and two weeks study leave along with substantial professional development opportunities.

Location details
The practice is based in Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, and is located 595 kilometres (370 mi) east-northeast of Perth. The city was founded in 1893 during the Yilgarn-Goldfields gold rush, and is located close to the so-called "Golden Mile".
