FARMHANDAustralian Agricultural Company is seekingapplications for a Farmhand at their property, Goonoo,on the Central Highlands of Qld, near Emerald.This position will report directly to the Farm Managerand be involved in the day to day running of farmingoperations producing silage, grain and pulses from1000ha irrigation area, along with summer and winterforage crops, on approximately 8000ha drylandcultivation.Previous experience with self propelled spray rig,siphon flood irrigation and zero till farming operationsan advantage but not essential. Applicants must beprepared to work with a team, to undertake necessarytraining, and have an active and enthusiasticapproach to their work.Single or married accommodation provided, withschool bus to front gate.
