Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a proven track record of delivering ????? ????? CHPPs? Are you committed to safety, continuous improvement and development of staff? Does the prospect of working with an industry leader appeal to you?
A Senior Process Engineer is required for a 12 month fixed-term contract at one of our client’s premier CHPPs. This role is based at a decent sized coal mine that produces large amounts of high quality coking coal for international customers.
The duties & responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to:
Mentoring, developing & supervising a team of Process Engineers, Graduates and cadets
Overseeing process monitoring ????? ????? & procedures
Development of plant improvement projects, cost/benefit analysis, plus project development and implementation resulting in significant increases in yield of product or runtime of plant
Management of capital projects
Assisting with the development of departmental budgets
Demonstrating a strong commitment to safe working practices
The successful applicant with be a tertiary qualified Process Engineer or Metallurgist with previous experience working in a CHPP. It is also essential that this person has proven leadership skills. This role is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract and it is expected that the person that takes on this position will be able to add value within this time-frame.
