SydPath, St Vincent’s Hospital

Applications are invited for the above position in one of Sydney’s premier teaching hospitals, commencing January 2010. SydPath provides pathology services not only for the St Vincent’s Campus, but for a range of clients elsewhere in Sydney and NSW.

Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, medical registration in NSW. The appointee will be expected to follow the RCPA registrar training program, details of which are available on the RCPA website (rcpa.edu.au). Rotations to the Institute of Forensic Medicine and other Sydney Hospitals for specialized experience may be involved. Applicants would generally be expected to be in at least their second postgraduate year. Excellent written and spoken English language skills are required, as is the ability to work as part of a team. An interest in teaching and research is highly desirable.
