    Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) Research Division with over 350 scientists, is the largest cancer research group in Australia, uniquely integrating basic, translational and clinical research with patient care in the setting of a specialist cancer hospital.
     
    An energetic and efficient Research Assistant is sought to join the Tumour Suppression Laboratory headed by Associate Professor Ygal Haupt to explore mechanisms of cancer suppression with the aim to translate this information into the cancer clinic.
     
    You will also contribute to several other related projects. You will have a relevant BSc, and proven experience in molecular and cellular biology. Experience in mouse experimentation and imaging techniques (flow cytometry and/or microscopy), or protein chemistry is highly advantageous. Multitasking skills are necessary.
     
    The position is initially for a fixed term of 12 months, with an opportunity to extend. Remuneration will be based on the level of experience.
