The Head and Neck Service is an integrated, multidisciplinary service providing diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of patients with Head and Neck malignancies. The service is seeking a highly motivated nurse with substantial knowledge and experience in the area of Head and Neck pre and post surgical nursing care for the above position. The Clinical Nurse Specialist performs a pivotal role as a member of the multidisciplinary team, providing expert individualised nursing care, streamlined integrated and coordinated systems throughout the patient care pathway, and in conjunction with the Service team implements evidence based best practice. Reporting to the Head and Neck Nurse Coordinator, the successful person will need to demonstrate strong clinical expertise and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
