Are you interested in joining a small, highly skilled nursing team? We have an opportunity for a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team.
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre’s apheresis unit is located in the East Melbourne campus, close to public transport. The unit is a TGA approved facility for the collection of human blood and tissue located within a world-renowned public hospital with a long standing commitment for excellence in patient care, we offer extensive support and education and a learning culture. Where would be better to develop your knowledge of apheresis and blood component therapy?
Experience or a postgraduate qualification in apheresis, or haematology/oncology is desirable but not essential.
The Apheresis Service cares for patients and donors requiring ????? ????? therapies, including stem cell harvesting, therapeutic exchanges and blood component transfusion support.
Operational hours are Monday – Friday 0800 – 1630, with all suitably experienced staff participating in providing a 24 hour, 7 day a week on-call ????? ?????.
