1st Year Apprentice Gardener

Do you have a strong desire to work in the Horticulture Industry?
MEGT Australia Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence their career in Horticulture by undertaking a four year Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship.
Working in both the commercial and residential sectors you will be required to undertake a range of activities associated with garden/grounds maintenance. You will be trained to safely operate a range of horticultural equipment and machinery to undertake soft landscaping activities from plant selection through to care and maintenance. This work is physically demanding and you will be required to undertake regular heavy lifting.
As this is an apprenticeship position you will be required to undertake formal training (Certificate III in Horticulture) at TAFE to obtain your trade qualifications.
Skills/Qualifications Needed:
Genuine interest in Gardening/Horticulture
Driver’s Licence (Manual preferred)
Own reliable transport
Enjoy working outdoors
Able to undertake manual/physical work
Well presented
