Candidates must have completed a course for Community Pharmacy Dispensary Assistants and have worked in a Community Pharmacy.

 

This pharmacy prepares Webster Medication Dosage Pack for residents of Residential Aged Care Facilities which allows nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality healthcare.

This role is to select and check medications, pack them into a Webster Medication Dosage Pack showing the days of the week, & Dosage times i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime.

 

It will also involve serving in the Retail Pharmacy as required.

 

It is necessary to be an organised, thorough person with focus & attention to detail. It is also necessary to be able to communicate effectively with nurses, carers and doctors.

 

Candidates must be qualified and an experienced Webster Medication Packer /Dispensary Technician with the knowledge needed to recognise medications.
