Clinical Research Associate / Senior Clinical Research Associate - Melbourne/Sydney

THE CLIENT:
A large global Pharmaceutical company with an excellent culture and reputation is currently looking for a Clinical Research Associate or Senior Clinical Research Associate to join their team in either Melbourne or Sydney. Working within a mid-sized team they operate within a matrix structure allowing exposure to all levels of the business. With significant R&D spend they have a strong pipeline and significant expertise within a number of key therapy areas as well as a number of new indications coming through.

THE ROLE:
The role will ideally suit a Clinical Research Associate or Senior Clinical Research Associate with two or more years experience. They will initially work a number of Oncology studies and with limited supervision along with interacting at all levels. Communication and influencing skills are a key feature of the role as you will be leading your own trials and managing your own site relationships. There will be support from a team lead and Senior CRAs will have the opportunity to mentor and manage new staff. Senior CRA level staff will also work with budgets and timeline accountability and responsibility for all key milestones.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience from a life science or medical background.
• Minimum 18 months experience for CRA level and a minimum of 4 years for a Senior CRA.
• Senior CRA level will need experience with project management skills such as Budgets and timelines and responsibility for total delivery and exposure to managing people.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent leadership potential and influencing skills.
• Must display both motivation and innovation for the role.
• Confident and grounded.
