Team Leader Project Planning

An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Team Leader Project Planning to work at our office in Burwood East. This is a newly created position, forming part of the Regional Strategies Team and is an opportunity to play an important role in achieving the State Government's transport planning strategies.

The Regional Strategies team is currently involved in a wide range of projects, including:

* Western Port Highway Study

* Healesville - Koo Wee Rup Road Project

* Main Street Bypass, Lilydale

* Clyde Road duplication between Kangan Drive and High Street, Berwick

* Berwick-Cranbourne / Clyde-Five Ways Road between Thompson Road and the South Gippsland Highway

* Development of the recently designated Central Activities Districts (formerly Transit Cities) at Dandenong, Ringwood, Frankston and Box Hill

* Precinct structure planning in Casey-Cardinia growth corridor

In this role, you will have an opportunity to lead a team involved in diverse activities such as traffic modelling, cultural heritage studies, flora and fauna assessments, community consultation, concept designs and planning scheme processes.

We are seeking candidates with particular attributes including:

* A proven ability to communicate articulately and persuasively (both verbally and formal written)

* A proven ability to use project management skills to achieve results

* A proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve successful outcomes

* Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
