A challenging position is currently available for a Band 7 Strategic Planner at one of Melbourne's leading councils. With an exciting career opportunity on offer, they are seeking a forward thinking and highly motivated Senior Strategic Planner to join a team of professionals. 

To be considered for this position you will be suitably qualified in planning with extensive experience working in the strategic planning field. You will have highly developed leadership skills and demonstrate previous experience mentoring a team of strategic planners. With a detailed knowledge of strategic planning processes and legislation, your strengths will be in high level policy development, planning scheme amendments, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation. You will also have the ability to communicate with professionals from a wide range of disciplines including members of the community.
