With growth and continual improvement at the forefront of this council our client seeks the addition of a strategic planner to contribute on numerous exciting projects.
 
As the successful candidate you will share the responsibility or developing structured plans for numerous municipal projects moving forward that will include urban growth, roads and infrastructure developments and economic strategy. You will also be faced with challenging planning issues but will be given the autonomy to work through these.
 
A lateral thinker you will work with various community groups, statutory authorities and other levels of government on strategic planning and policy development - bottom line, you will be paving the way for large scale municipal improvement.
 
A tertiary qualified planner with prior experience in either statutory or strategic planning you will join a vibrant team.
 
Prior local government experience will be highly regarded but the door will be left ajar for the right graduate also.
