Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, my client has two positions available as Director of Nursing in Orange and Dubbo, NSW. The organisation is committed to providing superior levels of residential aged care services to residents and their families with an emphasis on retaining clinical staff of the highest quality by providing excellent conditions and continuing professional development.

As Director of Nursing, you will ensure:

• Systems and procedures relative to ACFI, RCS, OH&S & Compliance are in place.
• That privacy, dignity, confidentiality and security needs of residents and staff are met.
• That high quality resident care with accreditation standards and best practice is delivered.
• You are fully informed and receptive to current trends in aged care theory and practice.
• Professional development and facilitate role modelling for all staff.

Essential Qualifications:

Current NSW nurses’ registration.

• Current Police Check.
• Not less than 5 years post basic or post graduate nursing experience including gerontology.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent HR, organisational and time management skills.
• Commitment to the quality improvement and continuous professional development.
• Good computer skills.
