Mental Health Worker
The Dubbo/Plains Division of General Practice located in Central West NSW, improves health outcomes by supporting and promoting general practitioners in their role as quality service provider in the holistic management of an individual’s health.
The Mental Health Services in Rural and Remote Areas Program provides allied and nursing mental health services, provided by Social Workers, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Aboriginal Health Workers and Aboriginal Mental Health Workers to rural communities within the Division boundaries. This program offers flexible work hours, vehicle access and the ability to set up an office remotely, clinical services can also be offered via daily outreach from Dubbo. The Division has a position available for a suitably qualified and experienced Mental Health Workers under this program. Full time and part-time positions are negotiable.
