MANAGER
DUBBO BASE & AERIAL
SERVICES
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia
(South Eastern Section) operates a base in
Dubbo which provides traditional services,
together with a contract operation for the
provision of patient transport services,
currently for the NSW Air Ambulance Service.
We are seeking applications from a suitably
qualified person to lead, direct and provide
high level management towards the day-to-
day operations of the Dubbo Base and aero-
medical patient transport services Contracts
provided out of Dubbo.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must have the following with
regards to contract management preferably
within an Aviation or Health environment.
Demonstrated high level of business
management and organisational skills
Demonstrated problem solving in a
contractual environment
Demonstrated high level decision making
ability
Demonstrated people management skills
showing maturity and empathy
Demonstrated liaison with a diverse
range of external and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated high level report writing
and contractual documentation skills
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
in contract management
Demonstrated ability to interpret and
work towards contractual budgets
Demonstrated ability to source State and
Commonwealth funding
Desired Experience
Ability to work autonomously in a multi
functional environment
Experience and knowledge in office
administration procedures and functions
Proficient IT skills and experience with
MS Office products
Tertiary qualifications in a health or
aviation related field
Knowledge/experience in quality assurance
and auditing functions
Experience in management and organisation
of health services
The position is Dubbo based and is also
responsible to co-ordinate one RFDS aircraft
that operates out of Bankstown Airport for
the provision of transport services for specialist
outreach services and patient transport.
