Recreation Planner

 

Base salary range $62,481.54 - $68,104.83, plus super

Full Time Temporary 12 month contract (Maternity Leave Replacement)

Consideration may be given to part time

 

The Economic and Environmental Planning Unit is looking for a motivated and experienced Recreation Planner for a 12 month contract. The purpose of the position is to strategically plan, develop, implement and evaluate a range of recreation opportunities with and for the Manningham community to promote community wellbeing.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Strategic development and delivery of major recreation projects and programs, including those in the Council Plan, Capital Works Program and the Active For Life Recreation Strategy.
• Ensure that community-building opportunities are maximised across the Unit’s activities, particularly in relation to recreation development.
• Liaise, consult with and provide support and expertise to community recreation organisations.
