Financial Controller

Award winning Daydream Island Resort and Spa has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our Management team.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance and accounting function on the Island, including:-

Management of the day to day financial operations on the Island.

Preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparation of budgets, cash flows and P&L forecasts

Liaising with external accountants and banks

Supervise a finance team of four people

Be part of the Operational Management team

The ideal candidate for the position will be;-

CPA or CA qualified

4 – 6 years accounting experience

Previous experience in hotel finance (Preferable)

Australian work experience

Excellent communication skills

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant or Management Accountant to make their first step up to a Financial Controller role.
