A well established and reputable mining market leader, with operations within Australia and overseas is currently looking for an experienced Environmental Superintendent to step into a role in the Northern Territory.
ROLE
Working at all times to ensure site compliance with environmental legislation and health and safety standards, you will provide direction and leadership for environmental management activities on site. Supervising a small environmental team, you will report directly to the HSE Manager and your duties will include:
- Completion of Mining Management plans
- Implementation of environmental management systems
- Groundwater monitoring (analysing water management data, identifying trends in site water samples)
- Environmental project work as required
- Provide technical support to management team as required
CANDIDATE
You will have 6-10 years experience in an Environmental mining role and relevant degree qualifications. Ideally you will have a strong background in Water Chemistry/Groundwater Monitoring.
BENEFITS
With relocation assistance provided, you will work on a FIFO basis from Darwin on a 5-2, 4-3 roster and will be based in comfortable camp accommodation on site. Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of 120k-130k plus allowances and superannuation.
