The position is responsible in supporting and implementing Environment, Health and Welfare and Risk Management plans, policies and procedures and supports training across the Council.
The Incumbent will provide EHS&W and Risk Management and general administrative assistance and coordinate training across the Council. The position works closely with the Senior Management Team and individual staff.
The succesful applicant will need experience in auditing, risk management and have a good understanding of documentation in both OHS and Risk Management.
The position reports to and provides high level support to the Manager Human Resources and Customer Service by implementing OHS&W and Risk Management plans, identifying, assessing and developing systems for staff, support administration, which may also incorporates associated HR processes and procedures, and meets legislative and Australian and New Zealand Standards for the Council.
