This national service supplier currently has a requirement for a Project Manager to join one of their sites based in Darwin. Working as part of a team to fulfil this client's contract within the Defence sector, you will hold responsibility for organising and supervising onsite building works.

The role will involve reviewing requests for onsite work, and assigning work to the appropriate sub-contractors as well as taking responsibility for providing sub-contractors with site inductions. You will supervise all work carried out to ensure adherence to timescales, costs, quality and legal requirements whilst ensuring ????? ?????&S policies are followed at all times. You will monitor sub-contractor performance and compliance indicators as well as implementing continuous improvement and cost saving measures.

To succeed in this role you will have a strong background in managing contractors / sub-contractors. Preferably you will come from a construction or building management background .
A firm grasp of current Australian Building Codes is required, as is the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
