This large and well known organisation is seeking a candidate to perform this newly created role based in the Northern Territory.

This client provides specialist asset management, integrated and specialist services and provide a range of services to both corporate and defence contracts on managed, cleaning and food services just naming a few.

Ideally you will already live in the NT but if not then this client will offer to pay airfare only for you to start up in the NT.

This role will see you working within Asbestos Management and you would have extensive and specific experience within this area

You will perform such duties as:

• Manage and supervise the day to day delivery of services relating to asbestos management
• Manage, verify and maintain Asbestos Register
• Manage auditing program
• Prepare Annual two year rolling risk program for the Asbestos Remediation Works
• Manage development and the review of Asbestos Management Plans
• Assist with Tender documentation for works programs in particular with Asbestos works

Ideally you will have the following:

• Intimate knowledge of Asbestos management
• Ability to manage a business from a commercial prospective
• Extensive construction/maintenance based experience on Asbestos Projects and Contract and Quality Control Experience
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and asset management principles
• Experience in estimating, preparation of briefs and tender documentation
• Intimate knowledge of relevant industry standards, building codes of Australia, statutory requirements and exposure with the government and defence procurement policy deadlines
