  • In this role you will be accountable for the hands on operation and management of the my clients Technical Operations team to meet the business requirements and SLAs for IT support services and internal IT systems.
     
    My clients technical operations team supports a wide variety of clients in the Northern Territory and growing at a steady rate. The role combines an excellent opportunity to apply your sound technical, people and relationship management skills with the opportunity grow your commercial skills in a highly professional work environment.
     
    You will be responsible for: 
    • Providing leadership and direction to the Technical Operations team,desktop support analysts and systems administrators
    • Hands on operations and support of internal IT systems including providing technical advice and escalation, system availability, capacity planning and ensuring ????? ????? are maintained using technologies from Microsoft, HP, Citrix, VMWare, Cisco.
    • Developing and driving the direction of internal IT systems to meet the immediate & ongoing needs of a high growth business. 
     
    To be successful in this role you will have: 
    • Minimum 5 years experience working in a team supporting IT infrastructure plus at least 3 years experience as a people manager in a technology environment
    • A demonstrated track record in driving improvement in individual, team and service delivery performance
    • Practical experience in implementing, maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure using Microsoft, HP, Citrix, VMWare, Cisco technologies in high availability environments.
    • Proven track record in technical planning, deriving roadmaps and evaluating solutions to deliver business requirements and projects.
    • Strong vendor & contract management experience.
