Mission Australia is seeking to fill a number of positions within the “Caryota Place” Sobering Up Shelter & Medical Transport Service based at Coconut Grove. Service focused people, who are passionate towards assisting our clients in a culturally appropriate, caring and professional manner, are highly desirable for these positions.
Care Workers - Sobering Up Shelter
Caryota Place Sobering Up Shelter provides safe, alternate accommodation for intoxicated people, providing high quality service and reducing the risk of harm to individuals and the community. Afternoon and night shift work positions available
Drivers – Medical Transport Service
Medical Transport Service provides a transport and driver liaison service to individuals who are disadvantaged. Clients are able to travel free-of-charge to medical appointments that they may otherwise be unable to attend. Various day shift positions available. Applicants must hold a current LR license.
