Exciting new and rare opportunity for an experienced and technical Application Server Administrator to further develop ones career on exciting new and existing projects within a forward thinking and leading global leading service delivery company.
Working within the Application Server Administration team you will play a key role in providing technical support to members of the Messaging and Middleware teams. Your responsibilities will include issues/risks that are raised with the supervisor/team leader/ Project manager, attending to and resolving production issues as a matter of urgency and ensure that all deliverables are completed within the expected timeframes.
To be successful and eligible for this opportunity you will have the following skill sets and experiences:
- Oracle Application Server production administration experience
- Oracle Portal Administration experience
- Familiarity with Oracle Databases
- B2B/EAI experience with Web methods, Oracle SOA Suite and/or TradeXpress
- J2EE and Java application development experience
- Documentation skills
- Familiarity and experience working within an ITIL environment
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
This role will be highly challenging and will be well suited to a candidate with experience working in a high pressure, corporate environment. You will be working within a team but personally you will be proactive and highly self motivated.
