Assistant Restaurant Manager — CROWS NEST, SYDNEY
Friday/Saturday or a Sunday/Monday off each week
Prefer to work straight shifts.??
We can offer you external management training as well.
WANT A LIFE AND A CAREER IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY TOO!
You will find that the working hours are very good here indeed.....!!!
How would you like a management position that gives you either Friday/Saturday or a Sunday/Monday off each week and straight shifts? We can even do better than that — we will give you Christmas and New Year off as well. You will have plenty of quality time off to spend with your family or loved ones and friends. Choose your shifts, straight shifts, split shifts, and choose between Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. If you need a day off no problem in swapping shifts either.
There’s heaps of other benefits as well —easy to travel to location (buses, taxis and trains within a 10 minute walk), free meals, just to name a few.
Having recently undergone a major renovation, we are looking to expand our trading hours to include breakfast (we are open seven nights and have recently begun to open seven lunches as well) and need another Assistant Manager to join our management team and help run shifts in our busy little Italian pizzeria restaurant.
Did we tell you about the external, structured management training? We believe you should have a career path in this exciting industry and we’re happy to pay for training and send you on your way to achieving this (there will be strict conditions to qualify for this though).
In return, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of our very busy, well established Italian pizzeria restaurant. Among your duties, you will control the general running of shifts, supervising our front of house team, setting-up the restaurant, hosting, providing a high level of customer satisfaction, working hands-on when necessary, doing rosters, training staff, helping develop our product and service range, helping us to develop point-of-sale and marketing material, developing and stream lining our policies, liaising with the kitchen and being hospitable to lots and lots of people and many regular customers.
Sound good? Well we are extremely choosy— the successful applicant will have to demonstrate both solid waiting and supervisory experience in professional environments (restaurant to an advantage), strong communication skills, a stable work history, completion of year 12 secondary school (a relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage), advanced computer skills, an appropriate attitude and excellent people skills. This is definitely not a position for a bored waiter!
If you think this is for you, contact us and be prepared for a rigorous interview. If we think you are the one, we’re prepared to negotiate a very generous salary.
