General Manager, Resort Letting and Operations

 



Lake Crackenback Resort is a rapidly growing award winning 4.5 star resort set in 150 acres. We are positioned in the heart of the NSW Snowy Mountains at the base of the Perisher Skitube half way between Thredbo and Jindabyne and operate as a Novotel franchisee.

We currently let over 90 privately owned units and chalets with another 10 coming online this year.
 
A new opportunity exists to take on this role. You will be an experienced, hard working and hands on person, taking charge of our holiday letting, conferencing and front office operations and other hotel services.
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Marketing and sales        
  • On line sales and bookings
  • Holiday letting and yield management
  • Front Office operation
  • Liaise with chalet/apartment owners
  • Oversee Management of resort operations/departments. Maintenance, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Activities and Day Spa
The Individual,
  • Will be experienced in the above roles and responsibilities
  • Innovative within a highly competitive marketplace, strongly focused on sales and marketing.
  • Strong business skills with budgets, revenue and costs within a seasonal business environment
  • Activities focused
  • Willing to work the long hours in busy periods, including some weekends.
This is the key strategic position within our growing resort and you will be reporting directly to the directors of the resort management and development company.
 
Remuneration will be negotiated commensurate with your experience, education and personal attributes.
