    We are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic, hardworking professional to join our growing company in the role of Management Accountant.
     
    Reporting to Financial Controller, the Management Accountant is responsible for process improvement and systems development with a particular focus on the Accpac ERP system used by Mimco.
     
      
    This role includes but is not limited to:
    • Analysis and documentation of existing processes within the business focussing initially on stock processes within both businesses.
    • Identify methods to improve and streamline processes within the system and work to document and implement improvements.  
    • Participate in the implementation and/or modification of financial systems upgrades  as required  including general ledger system and fixed asset system.  
    • Work on implementing and maintaining TM1 reports throughout the business
    • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets & periodic forecasts for the group.
    • Provide analysis to budget holders as required.
    • Provide support to other areas via analysis of financial data & measurement of KPI’s.
    • Ensure consistent, accurate processes exist within the business. 
    •  Under the guidance of financial controller develop adhoc reporting consistent with finance strategy plan  
    •  Work with  Group Solutions and IT Teams on TM1 and other projects as required.
     
     To be considered for this role you will need to have:
    • Significant Accpac experience  with an ERP system ( preferably Accpac) across all modules including Order Entry, Inventory Control, Purchase order, GL, AP and AR
    • Qualified accountant (CPA or CA) or qualified by experience.
    • At least 5 years experience in a commercial environment.
    • Strong Excel skills.
    • Ability to focus on continuous process improvement.
    • Good time management and organisation skills.
    • Ability to lead, direct and educate finance team members.
    • Good ability to communicate with all levels of staff including non-financial staff.
    • Proactive approach to problem identification & resolution.
    • Team player, willing to support & enhance the activities of other members of the organisation.
