Irrigation Design/Sales Engineer

  • They provide high quality solutions to the agricultural and farming sector in the south island and strive to provide quality customer service.

    This position will have the dual responsibility of technical design and sales creation. You will assist with continual improvement and new client design for large scale irrigation and water supply systems. With an outgoing nature you will capitalise on opportunities within the south island and strive to exceed sales targets. This position will involve designing solutions and planning and organising their installation. Your design and innovation skills are required, preferable combined with tertiary qualifications in either engineering ????? ?????. Your sales skills will be vital to support the process and liaise with clients.

    Ideally:
    • Familiarity with irrigation products and solutions or;
    • hydraulic, pumping and/or piping design understanding and background
    • CAD skills, a knowledge of IrriCAD would be an advantage
    • Experience with sales and results driven
    • Client liaison and time management skills

    This role could suit someone with sharp technical, agriculture, landscaping or piping design knowledge combine with technical sales and great customer skills would be ideal. A healthy remuneration is provided for this Ashburton based position.
