Principal Accountant

 

Our client is a nationally recognised leader in accounting and financial strategies. With offices across the country and overseas, we are looking for a senior, Principal Accountant to oversee one of their regional offices based in Chinchilla (< 300 kms west of Brisbane)

This vibrant and progressive region is at the hub of Queensland’s largest oil and gas growth area and is experiencing significant economic growth. This role will see you be involved in providing financial and taxation advice to a broad range of clientele including those in agricultural, retail and manufacturing ????? ????? those affiliated with the energy sector.

The key areas of responsibilities will include:

• Provision of high level business planning and taxation consulting;

• Management of a team of dedicated accounting professionals;

• Reporting through to the Chief Executive regarding growth and profitability.

• Development/growth of client base

We are looking for an industry experience professional, with a minimum of 7 years experience and a CPA or CA qualification. You will also have a proven track record of staff management, an excellent compliance record and a keen eye for productivity.
