New Social Work Graduate Position
(Commencement upon satisfactory completion of final placement)

Parkinson’s Victoria has a vacancy in its Client Services team for a full time Client Services Officer with Social Work qualifications. The position is aimed at a graduate level and is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified Social Worker to develop skills working in the Chronic Illness / Neurological field.

The purpose of the position is to deliver information, support and education services to people living with Parkinson’s, carers, health professionals and the community throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria. A unique learning environment will be offered through a multi-disciplinary team, and Social Work supervision will be offered to assist the worker develop further skills and work creatively within the position. Graduates who have completed a placement in chronic illness, aged care or community based organisations will be regarded favourably.

We are keen to hear from Social Workers who have a passion and enthusiasm working for people with chronic illness in a community based environment.
