AECOM is the world’s leading engineering ????? ?????, operating in over 100 countries globally with a staff of over 44,000. The NSW Communication and Community (C&C) unit has immediate opportunities in for 2-3 Communication Consultants.
As senior members of the C&C team, Principal Consultants will work as Communication Managers on the management team of major infrastructure projects in either the road, rail or power sectors in Sydney and NSW. In these roles, the successful candidates will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of communication and consultation strategies and a small team of communication officers.
The successful applicants will have suitable tertiary qualifications in communication, journalism or public relations, 8 – 10 years industry experience and direct experience in a communications management role on a major project during ????? ????? approvals phase and/or construction phase of project delivery.
Directly relevant experience on alliance projects will be highly regarded including:
- Developing, implementing and evaluating community and stakeholder management strategies - engaging diverse communities, resolving complex issues, achieving Key Performance Indicator targets
- Providing internal communication services to the project team – preparation of internal newsletters, reward and recognition programs, award submissions and conference papers
- Developing and evaluating programs for alliance cultural development and high performance management.
The successful candidates will possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and be able to provide projects with a breadth of communication services including public education, community and stakeholder relations, consultation, workshop facilitation, public meeting facilitation, publication management, employee communications, media and government relations, and report writing.
You will have a commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility and be comfortable operating in the consulting, business development and project delivery environments. Experience in the engineering ????? ????? industries would be ideal.
