Job Description             Coordinate the efficient and effective implementation of the Native Vegetation Act, Biodiversity programs, accreditation under the Threatened Species Legislation and associated planning requirements in the Lachlan Catchment.
 
SELECTION CRITERIA:
 
·       Detailed working knowledge of natural resource management issues, relevant legislation, regulations and policies and the Government NRM reform agenda in one or more of the following, native vegetation, water, soil, land, riparian zones, coasts and estuaries.
·       Sound record of achievement in development and implementation of NRM projects and services with a client focus.
·       Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues facing land holders in achieving sustainable economic development. Proven ability to negotiate NRM, social and economic outcomes with land holders and other stakeholders
·       Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated practical expertise in investigating, assessing and reporting in respect of native vegetation property management plans. Proven ability to obtain and coordinate advice on a range of issues.
·       Highly developed oral and written communication, negotiation, presentation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
·       Proven capacity to develop and deliver training and information programs.
·       Highly developed analytical, problem solving, and research skills. Demonstrated capacity to plan and manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities. Proven ability to work as part of a team.
·       Ability to use spreadsheets and database computer programs for reporting. Current drivers licence.
