Job Description              Develop and implement natural resource management projects including on-ground incentives, capacity building and community support in partnership with the community and stakeholders.
 
SELECTION CRITERIA:
 
·       Working knowledge and expertise in NRM issues and practice in one or more of the following, riparian zones, native vegetation, water, soil, land, coasts and estuaries.
·       Demonstrated understanding of the needs and issues facing land holders in achieving sustainable economic development.
·       Demonstrated ability to develop and implement NRM activities and proven ability to deliver NRM services to clients.
·       Good knowledge of natural resource legislation, reforms, and trends and the NRM policy framework.
·       Proven ability to undertake research, provide advice and participate in NRM planning.
·       Well developed oral and written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills and good analysis, research and problem solving skills.
·       Ability to use spreadsheets and database computer programs for reporting.
·       Demonstrated ability to manage projects and organise and prioritise work with conflicting deadlines and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Current driver's license.
