A large international mining company is looking for a mining engineer to work at one of their key mine sites in the Bowen Basin, just a couple of hours drive from the Mackay Coast line.
Working on a steady 5-2 roster, this is a residential role, offering ????? ????? salary and excellent opportunities for career growth.
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Co-ordinate mine forecasting and scheduling requirements
- Planning for pre-strip design
- Short to medium term mine planning
- Providing technical support for the mine
- Compliance with mine health and safety standards
You will need to be degree qualified, and have experience in mining engineering, as well as being familiar in Vulcan, pre-strip and drag lines.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $95-$115k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for applicants with exceptional experience.
