We are currently seeking a Mine Engineer to join the team at a world-class mining company in Central Queensland.   They are currently operating in more than 15 countries worldwide including a number of established operations throughout Australia.  Their success is reflected by their longevity across a variety commodity markets.
 
This position will require you to provide technical support in related mine projects and mining engineering tasks with high level of interaction with technical and mine operations teams. This role reports to the Planning Superintendent.
 
Your core duties will include project scoping & scheduling as well as drill & blast design.  Short and medium term mine planning and mine design will be another vital part of your role. Experience with project reporting, mine budgets and NPI Reporting will be highly regarded.
 
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with 3-5 years post graduate experience.  Well developed communication and analytical skills will be important as well.   A high level of competency with computers with MineSight experience will be an advantage.
