Fantastic opportunity exists to establish yourself with a leading mining company in an exciting hands on role. You will be a vital member of the engineering ????? ????? will be responsible for coordinating all short to medium term planning activities.

This is an excellent residential position outside Moranbah, only 2 hours drive from Mackay and the beautiful Whitsundays, with exceptional housing subsidies, support and lifestyle opportunities available.

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer (Planning) you will be exposed to:

• Periodic reporting and re-forecasting of production / reconciliation statistics against budget forecasts
• Assisting with strategic medium to long term scheduling, planning and budgeting of mine
• Developing strategic initiatives towards exceeding operational targets whilst controlling costs and budget requirements
• Preparing ????? ????? designs to superiors and engineering ????? ?????

Ideally you will possess:

2-3 years relevant mine planning experience

Degree in Engineering (Mining)

Experience with Xpac Software

Ability to meet deadlines and present ideas to peers and superiors

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and be in the range of $100k - $120k + benefits.

Salaries outside this range will be considered for exceptional candidates.
