This position offers enormous scope for an open cut Senior Drill and Blast Engineer with a hands on attitude to develop and grow with an excellent team. Where main responsibilities will be in planning, design and operations...

You will need to be a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer and have at least 5 solid years experience in Drill and Blast within the Australian mining industry (preferably coal).

You will ideally have plenty of experience with blast design initiatives and you will be highly computer literate with major mine modelling and scheduling packages.

You will be responsible for...

• Development of Drill and Blast plans.
• Preparation of forecasts and schedules.
• Monitoring ????? ????? performance against plans.
• Continuation of improvements to Drill and Blast process.
• Undertaking of project work as required.
• Ensuring ????? ????? working practices are adhered to.
