Located at Millennium mine inland from Mackay, the key purpose of the role is to support the operational safety and training plans while ensuring ????? ????? control mechanisms are in place.

The Role

This senior role will provide assistance on all site based occupational, health and safety activities to ensure the competence and well being of people, the integrity of equipment and the safe handling of materials.  You will believe that all injuries are preventable and strive to make the Millennium mine site incident free.  The position presents the opportunity for growth and career development in our rapidly expanding company.

The Person

• Relevant safety & training qualifications
• Knowledge of Safety and Training Management Systems
• Experience in a large scale mining environment
• Computer literate
• Energetic with the ability to form strong professional relationships
• Excellent communication skills
