Ready Workforce is looking for Trainee Cablers for our clients busy telecommunications business in Emerald.

The position available is offering a career path within telecommunications for applicants who possess technical capability and a willingness to learn.

The position will be Monday - Friday approximately 8 - 5 with overtime available. Remuneration on offer is negotiable depending on experience.

Your duties will include:

Assisting Technicians
Installing Phone & Data Lines
Termination & Testing of Phone & Data Lines
Undergoing Training (Theory & Practical)
Working at Heights
Accessing Roofs & Other Confined Spaces
Varied Work Hours
General Labouring

To be successful for this position you must meet the following requirements:

Generic Induction
Coal Board Medical
Drivers Licence (C Class Manual)
Basic Computer Skills
Possess Technical Capability
Capacity to Learn Quickly
Initiative
Ability to Develop Rapport with Clients
Customer Service Skills
Well Presented
Work Well Within Team Environment

General PPE will be supplied by the client. However, if successful, you will be required to purchase your own uniforms prior to start.

Knowledge and/or experience within the telecommunications industry will be highly regarded. However, on the job training will be provided for motivated applicants who are driven to succeed.
