Our client is a well established coal producer that owns and operates a portfolio of underground and surface mines within Australia.  There is an immediate requirement for a 'top notch' Maintenance Planner to coordinate the scheduling of short and long term maintenance of both mobile and fixed plant equipment. 
 
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, your key accountabilities will be to plan and schedule preventative and shutdown maintenance, preparation of the annual maintenance budget and to maintain the data integrity of the maintenance software system.  This is a permanent role with future career opportunities. 
 
Naturally you are trade qualified ideally as a fitter machinist and possess many years experience in both maintenance coordination and planning.  It is preferable that you are competent in CMMS software as well as Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word.  Furthermore, it is expected that you possess solid communication and interpersonal skills.
