    Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 2000 people.
      
    About the Opportunities

    Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a part time Pathology Specimen Collector to work as part of the Patient Services Team in Rockhampton.

    The primary task of this role is to take blood samples from patients.
    Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
    • Provide quality patient care for our patients;
    • Treat our patients with care and compassion;
    • Receive urine and faeces samples;
    • Record patient information; and
    • Liaise with referrers and ancillary services.
    Candidates with pathology specimen collection experience will be held in high regard, although this is not essential. Sullivan Nicolaides is an accredited Registered Training Organisation, and successful candidates will embark on a comprehensive training course during ????? ????? (minimum 5 hours per working day). Upon completion of training, candidates receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.

    Staff members will be given a chance to develop their skills through ongoing training, and provides an avenue for career development and advancement.

    An attractive hourly rate, circa $17.20, will be offered to each successful applicant.
