You are a qualified accountant with at least three years experience in open cut mining operations.  You thrive on having considerably accountability and you appreciate the value the company's management team place on your expertise and advice.  In this role you will be joining a well established and expanding mid tier mining company that currently operates a surface coal mine in Queensland's Bowen Basin.   In return, you will be offered the opportunity to fully embrace the commercial practices of the mine as well as an enticing remuneration and relocation package.
 
As the Senior Mine Accountant, you will report to the site based Commercial Superintendent.  You will have significant ownership of the accounting function and you must be able to demonstrate a capacity to influence operational stakeholders.  Your day to day responsibilities are self evident but include driving the performance of the mine accountants as well as the production of accurate month end data.
