Join the environment’s legal team!  We are seeking a Development Officer to join our dedicated team to assist us with fundraising and developing our profile.

The Environment Defenders Office is a community legal centre specialising in environmental law.  Our clients include community groups and environment NGOs working on issues such as nature conservation and climate change.

The role 

As Development Officer, you will develop an implementation plan for our Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Strategy.  Your role will also include:

• developing donors and supporters
• establishing fundraising systems
• producing promotional materials
• developing media messaging
• helping staff and volunteers to promote us in the community.

You will have great skills, and experience in a similar role in an environmental NGO or other not for-profit organisation.

The position is initially for 2 to 3 days per week for a period of up to 12 months.  Hours and days of work are negotiable.
