Procurement Contracts Officer

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contracts professional to become part of the Procurement team based in Canning Vale, Perth.  The primary function of this hands-on position is create and maintain contracts for the procurement of materials and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
 
Responsibilities include: 

 

• Lead supplier negotiations
• Negotiate legal terms and conditions as required on contracts with approval from legal department.
• Conduct Vendor audits
• Issue contracts and master agreements for various services or materials
• SAP reporting – Spend, Savings, Compliance
• Maintain files for contracts, logs for contracts issues and updates on insurances required by contracts

 
To be successful in this role you demonstrate the following skills and experience:

 

• 2-3 years “Hands On” experience in a Procurement Contracts position
• Proven track record in savings accomplishments and supplier negotiations
•  Proficiency with SAP will be highly advantageous; MS Office experience essential.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously
