Communications Officer

  • Our client is a nationally focussed Industry Association based within the rural sector. The communications team is currently looking to expand with an experienced Communications Officer to assist the Communications Manager in all aspects of the organisation's communications and media functions.

    As the successful candidate, you will have the following skills and attributes;

    • A proven ability to develop and promote good news stories to local and national media,
    • Excellent internal and external communications,
    • Experience in assisting with issues based campaigns,
    • Strong organisational skills,
    • Second to none stakeholder liaison skills, and
    • High attention to detail.

    This current vacancy is initially for 12 months with a potential for permanency and the hourly rate ranges from $30 to $34+ super and will be based on skills and experience.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work with some highly important and contemporary campaigns in a supportive team based environment.
